Tater Tot Casserole

There are so many recipes out there for tater tot casseroles. Here is one that I'd like to share with you. It tastes so good!

1 lb ground beef
1/2 onion
1- (32 oz) bag of frozen Tater Tots
1-(16oz) container of Sour Cream
1- (10 3/4 oz) can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
1 (6oz) can of French-Fried Onions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Brown the ground beef and 1/2 onion in a skillet and set aside to cool. In a small mixing bowl, stir together the Sour Cream, Cream of Mushroom Soup, and Cheese. Arrange the Tater Tots in a 9x13 greased baking dish. Add the beef with onions on top of the Tater Tots. Spoon on Sour Cream mixture and spread evenly. Top with the French-Fried Onions. Bake for 45-60 minutes. Enjoy.

  3. I have made tater tot casserole for years, but never with sour cream. I am going to have to give that a try the next time I make it. This recipe really brings me back to when I was a kid. I am your newest follower from the Thursday Blog Hop and thanks for sharing this recipe!
